Passion flowers are native to more tropical regions of Central and South America so you can be difficult if you live in a colder climate place to grow the flower. Cut the stem off on an angle using pruners or sharp scissors.

Cut from your passion vine 3- to 4-inch-long stem sections that include three to four bud nodes. Existing hybrids are best propagated by cuttings as even if fertile their seed will almost always be variable and possibly produce inferior offspring. Take passion flower cuttings in early spring.
